Just before Thanksgiving of 2014, we proudly opened our first location in Williston, North Dakota. By 2019, the Genesis brand was born. Owners Lenny and Miranda Johnson relaunched their second store in January 2020 under the new Genesis name. 

Genesis is a family-owned clothing store committed to delivering a specialty retail experience, providing our customers with the best selections and exceptional customer service. We’ve built our reputation on creating a comfortable, safe, and clean environment for all. At Genesis, we deeply value giving back to the community that supports our growth.

Keiona Hicks – General Manager
Keiona has been leading the Genesis team since 2018, bringing a wealth of experience and a love for adventure. Originally from Toledo, WA, her favorite Genesis brand is North Face, reflecting her passion for outdoor gear and quality. Keiona is committed to creating a welcoming environment and delivering exceptional service to customers.

Marlit Torres – Store Manager
Marlit joined Genesis in 2023 and has quickly made an impact with her leadership and vibrant energy. Hailing from Woodlands, TX, her favorite brand at Genesis is Billabong, embodying her love for laid-back, surf-inspired fashion. Marlit focuses on ensuring that every customer has a personalized and enjoyable shopping experience.

Avery Seadeek – Assistant Manager
Avery became part of the Genesis family in 2022. Originally from Fairview, MT, she’s a fan of Billabong, appreciating its casual yet trendy vibe. Avery’s dedication to customer satisfaction and team collaboration makes her an essential part of the store’s success.
